scandal? more like business as usual, for banks and lenders! They hide behind regulations to wiggle out of contracts that were due to regulations then screw the borrower by breach of contract after the regulation(s) were lifted or changed. Other banks are doing the same thing to a lower percentage of people. They do a round robin of screwing the public so they can have a bad guy good guy circle jerk. Just look at wireless companies like Sprint, Verizon, & T-Mobile. The data plans don't change they just get rotated between companies on the same towers. It is a shell game played on each wave of a new generation. Watch, within the next ten or fifteen years Sprint will be the cheapest flat rate truly unlimited data like they used to be just as T-Mobile has now begun to limit their unlimited by gating speeds after 1, 2, & 5GB per month. Shell game where thy pass around extra loot for being the good guy while the rest just get the boring old regular billions of dollars a year...
