The problem, for me, lies in the fact that this assumes every single 2D equation is extruded in a dip below or above the X axis rather than in vertical from the plane.
Just because we can use a square root of a negative number doesn't mean turning a 2D equation into 3D is a correct rendering.

    1. the numberphile channel is much more entertaining. They use real world examples and uses rather than animations projected into a false third plane by rationalizing how one can square root a negative number into an imaginary dimension beyond the natural world. Math has tainted Physics into believing equations equate to proper testing through the scientific method.
